James B. Lemler is a leadership consultant and educator in professional, corporate, educational, religious, and philanthropic settings.  He is the author of articles and books on leadership education and organizational development and change and has been a presenter and speaker for conferences and smaller gatherings.  A Senior Associate for Ki ThoughtBridge, he has also served in that role for Trustee Leadership Development and as a facilitator and educator for the Center for Courage and Renewal. Educated at DePauw University, the University of Oxford, Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary, and Christian Theological Seminary, Dr. Lemler has offered consultation in the fields of leadership, education, negotiation, organizational development, and philanthropy nationally and internationally.  He has been a consultant to the Lilly Endowment, Inc and is the President of the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation. An ordained clergyman of the Episcopal Church, Dr. Lemler has served in a variety of congregational settings and is the Rector of Christ Church Greenwich in Greenwich, Connecticut.  As an educator he has been the President of St. Richard’s School in Indianapolis, Dean and President of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and its Seabury Institute in Evanston, Illinois, and as President of the Association of Chicago Theological Schools.  He has had a founding role in educational and service organizations including most recently Greenwich’s Conversations on Faith and Courage.
