Sallie has a strong and diverse background in higher education with experience in faculty and management positions at Willamette University, Washington State University, and Lewis and Clark College. She was President and Co-Owner of Leadership Innovations Group, Inc., a leadership education and consulting firm based in Denver, Colorado. In addition, Sallie directed training, education and outreach initiatives for Girls Count, a Denver-based, national organization focused on enhancing girls' and young women's educational and career achievement.
Sallie holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Education and Human Development from Iowa State University and is presently pursuing additional graduate study in theology and spiritual direction. Her passion for education and transformational leadership has been a common theme throughout her professional career. She has extensive teaching and facilitation experience in the areas of communication, group dynamics and discernment of individual purpose.
Sallie is an educator and curriculum developer for the Community Leadership Association's Trusteeship curriculum and is certified in Ki ThoughtBridge, Inc. - negotiation, conflict resolution and change strategies, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and the assessments of Brain Technologies Corporation, a company that focuses on cutting-edge organizational and self-development tools. Sallie resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her family.
