About Ki ThoughtBridge

Ki ThoughtBridge provides organizational assessment, executive coaching, leadership development, customized skill-building workshops, and an array of conflict resolution, negotiation, and change management resources for businesses, philanthropic institutions, and educational systems.

Leaders use a variety of technical and adpative skills on a daily basis. However, 90% of the problems leaders face are adaptive, while the majority of the training they have received is technical. Ki ThoughtBridge helps leaders intergrate their adaptive skills with their technical expertise, enabliing them to achieve results using tools and processes that build trust, integrity, effectiveness, and profitability.

Through consultation, diagnostic processes, facilitation, training, and coaching, Ki ThoughtBridge helps our clients address challenges and become better leaders in five key areas:

History

ThoughtBridge originated out of the Harvard Negotiation Project founded by Roger Fisher, Williston Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, and Howard Raiffa of Harvard Business School.

In the past 14 years, ThoughtBridge has used and adapted the tools and processes first written in Fisher's best selling book Getting to Yes.

ThoughtBridge is nationally recognized for its expertise in conflict management, mediation, and negotiation. The company's diverse clientele range from Fortune 500 Companies to educational systems. Its training workshops are noted for preparing leaders to deal constructively and effectively with conflict and change.

In 2002 ThoughtBridge formed several strategic alliances, one of which was with Trustee Leadership Development, Inc., a center for leadership development and governance founded by Katherine Tyler Scott. This collaboration demonstrated the need for an integrated approach that combines technical and adaptive skills and internal and external capacities to achieve transformational results in individuals, organizations, and communities.

In 2006 we re-branded ThoughtBridge to reflect our response to this need and renamed our company Ki ThoughtBridge. The new look and name reflects our expanded services, programs, and resources in adaptive leadership, organizational development, negotiation, and transformation.

"A very sincere thanks for the important role you played in launching the work of the Design Teams. I must confess that I typically lose interest easily with structured presentations, but I was riveted throughout both days with your sessions and learned plenty. You have put in place a structure and language for a difficult process that will serve us well over the coming months."
